Patrick “Wink” Nolan

While in high school, Wink was a three year letter winner in baseball at Calvert Hall in Baltimore County. In 2004, he was a recipient of the MIAA Classic Most Outstanding Prospect Award. Patrick was co-captain at Calvert Hall on a team that won the MIAA with a 31-1 season. Although he missed his senior season after he broke his ankle, Wink went on to play the 2006 and 2007 seasons with the University of Maryland Terrapins where he hit .252 with 10 RBIs and .258 with 8 RBIs respectively.

In 2008 he transferred to the University of Maryland where he hit .328 with 21 RBIs and 2 homers. Following his Collegiate eligibility, he went on to play for the Albany Quails having a .361 batting average in the Peach State League.

Following the PSL short season, Wink went on to play for the Normal CornBelters in the Frontier League in 2010 before moving to the Pecos League playing with the Las Cruces Vaqueros and the Trinidad Triggers where he ended the 2013 season hitting .392 with 63 RBIs and a .429 OBP.

Since 2011, Wink has been instructing softball and baseball clients, servicing hundreds of athletes and clients in the Northern VA/Tysons/McLean area. Athletes as young as 7 years old to professional 20 year olds in the big leagues. His clients have been drafted, pulled for all-stars, other playing competitive travel ball. Wink is known as the most sought after hitting instructor in Northern VA currently.

As a Maryland father of 2 boys in rookie ball and international, Wink is bringing his expertise to Maryland.

Beyond mechanics, I also develop the mental and emotional resilience athletes need to perform under pressure and handle adversity with confidence.
